Who Can Get a Vitamin IV Drip?
IV vitamin therapy offers numerous benefits, but it’s essential to ensure you’re a suitable candidate. While most people can safely receive these treatments, some restrictions apply. It’s crucial to provide a complete medical history and disclose any allergies prior to therapy. For instance, IV vitamin treatments are typically not recommended for individuals with kidney disease or heart conditions.
Pregnant women and children can receive IV vitamin therapy, but additional precautions are taken. Children and teens under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will need to sign consent forms. They must also weigh over 100 pounds to receive a full liter, the standard amount we provide. Pregnant clients will undergo a more detailed intake process with our RN team to determine the safest and most beneficial drip for both mother and baby.
